Visitor Guidelines

JSOT is a very sacred place, all visitors are required to abide by the following rules and regulations applicable to all areas including the Mandir, Haveli and the Exhibition.

Parking:
Free parking is available. You may also park on the streets outside. Do not park in the fire-zones and in front of any of the buildings or driveways in the neighbourhood. The management does not assume any responsibility for vehicles parked on the premises.

Dress Code:
Casual attire. No sleeveless tops. No shorts. No skirts shorter than knee length.

Shoes:
Visitors are required to remove their foot wear before entering the premises or any part of the complex. (Shoe racks provided at the front door).

Seating Arrangements:
There are designated areas for men and women during the Aarti ceremony and other religious rituals. Visitors are requested to adhere to these arrangements during the ceremony.

Photography and Videography:
The JSOT complex is a sacred and spiritual place of worship. Please refrain from taking photos or videos inside the premises, including taking photos inside the temple.

Food and Drink:
No outside food or drinks are allowed inside, only Jain food is allowed to be cooked or consumed.. Please discard any chewing gum in the bin provided before entering.

Cell Phones:
Please switch off all cell phones prior to entering the premises. Cell phones with cameras must not be used to take photographs inside.

Smoking and Alcohol:
Smoking, tobacco, alcohol and drugs are not allowed anywhere in the complex.

Pets and Animals:
No pets allowed within complex. (Service dogs allowed in most areas except sacred spaces used for prayer and meditation.)

Conduct:
Please maintain silence during your visit to JSOT to maintain the spiritual atmosphere.

Children:
All visitors aged 14 or under must be accompanied by an adult at all times, otherwise entry may be refused.

Donations:
Visitors wishing to make donations towards the maintenance of the complex or to the charity work undertaken by JSOT are requested to utilize the donation boxes or contact the Management Committee. Cheques can be made payable to ‘JSOT’ Tax receipt will be issued.

Security:
Activities in the complex are monitored and recorded by video surveillance. Please respect all security procedures.

Please Note: The Management reserves the right to refuse admission to those who do not follow the above listed guidelines.

The Management also reserves the right to cancel or alter any visit or close the complex or part of the premises without prior notice. Every effort will be made to avoid any inconvenience. The Management is not responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any personal belongings of the visitors, during their visit to JSOT.
